We had owned an Infrared Sauna from another company for 3 years. We can refer them as company X. Unfortunately, we had some difficulties with the sauna and when we contacted Company X, it was very apparent that “customer service” wasn’t even in their vocabulary. The Solo Spa I purchased from you has been a very powerfull treatment protocol for me in treating my cancer. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Lipo Sarcoma. This cancer is medically treatable only with surgery. There are no other medical treatments recommended. I am very much into Alternative and Integrative medicine so as I began my research it led me to many great options. One of the options I found is Hyperthermia Therapy. This involves the heating of the body core or local area to a point that is detrimental to cancer cells. After researching a lot of different sauna’s and looking at the suggestions of others, I decided that the Sunlighten, Solo Spa was the one I would choose. The features were everything I needed, Compact, lightweight and powerfull. I ordered it and for the first 50 days I used it every day and thereafter, even continuing now, I use it almost every other day. I am very happy to report that my cancer is under control with the doctor allowing me to use the word “REMISSION”! The reasons that the Solo has been so successful for me are: 1. Proper use of the Solo Sauna is very detoxing to the body. 2. The Solo Sauna is one of the very few saunas’ that will raise the bodies’ core temperature high enough necessary to be effective against cancer cells. 3. Private relaxing, “no stress” time is very important in the treatment of any disease especially cancer.
My wife and I use the Sauna to promote our general health and we absolutely love it!! I have recommended it to 3 other cancer survivors as well. It is so beneficial to the joints and provides a great cardio workout even while I sleep! I believe it was a major factor in helping me run a successful half marathon earlier this year.

The order placed in April arrived on Labor day. We had a series of problems from day 1 after delivery. Installers didn’t have any experience other than putting the sauna together.
The user manual, serial # , etc hauled away by the installers. CD/DVD didn’t work. Touch screen would not operate audio or video. Sunlighten customer service was great. It got to the point of frustration bordering on comedy. 6 weeks , 2 replacement CD/DVD players, a 2nd installer visit, 1 wire connection and a replacement LCD touch screen later…we have a fully operational sauna.
Through all of the delays, hassles, phone calls and replacement parts, the Sunlighten customer service people could not have been nicer. The one thing that kept me from sending hate mail or trashing Sunlighten was the non-wavering support from customer service. I heard several of the people I talked to say the same thing…. we’re sorry for the inconvenience but we will make it right. They did ! The mPulse is wonderful. My wife and I use it every day. The quality is there. The product is as advertised and the customer service was 1st class. I had my doubts for a couple of weeks….. No longer. Buy with confidence. Sunlighten made good on their promise.

I promised that if you could address the problems and resolve them that I would write a nice note. So I am delighted to be able to write that everything is working! Yes, I did panic after the sauna arrived so behind schedule and wasn’t working, but now I understand the complexity of your situation. This is not just another mass produced unit with your name slapped on it, and I understand how a combination of high demand and production delays/problems threw you a curve. I must complement you on how you have addressed these challenges, addressing critical customer service demands and improving communication. I could see the changes as they were put into place each time I called. Lucky for you that your customer service reps are so good at how they communicate. Your local service tech for my area was PROMPT and got everything working. I didn’t get to meet him, but I spoke to him over the phone, and he was very helpful.

Now, the sauna. I confess that the gorgeous photos influenced me a lot, and it didn’t disappoint when it arrived and was set up. It’s simply gorgeous, and even more so when the unit was repaired and lit up for the first time. I’m a designer, so that was a big selling point. I appreciate all of the design details. But I wasn’t prepared for how different using the unit would feel from my previous IR unit. The intensity of the IR is discernibly different from my old unit. The heat feels luxurious. Speaking of luxury, I must mention the audio system is fantastic.

All in all, it was a difficult birth, but this baby was worth the wait. Thank you too for the thoughtful accessories–the cleaning supplies and beautiful candles. That kind of thing helps complete the purchase experience and reinforces the feeling that I’ve purchased something high end. Now, if only my BMW dealer would just take some notes from you!
